WOW!! What a day!
We’re still smiling!.. What a fantastic market day! We want to thank you all for your participation, and we’d like to extend an invite to each of you to join us next year – We got so many compliments on the range and talent of vendors, you’re a great group to work with, it was just such a wonderful experience all around. As you witnessed, we are also blessed with an awesome volunteer crew of men and women who help us pull it off, Tim Gannon, Greg Wind, Peg Scofield, Scott Hawkins, Terry Doyle, to name a few.
SO.. we’ll do it again next year, same weekend. You’ll see updates through the year on our facebook page and through e-mails. Now that you understand the flow and the options, sign up as soon as you see the call next year if you want the pavilion or to be under the tent. We plan to rent a second tent next year as it was popular. That will give us 16 spaces available under the yellow and white stripe Lion’s Club tents.
Let us know if you have any suggestions for what we can do better or questions — High five to all, you’re so inspiring, each one! Besides all your talent , we witnessed so many warm interactions, it’s a beautiful thing.
Hope to see you at the farm!
Karen & Linda
Promotion of community gatherings, environmental awareness, local agriculture, and healthy living are among the primary goals connected with the resurrection of Parmelee Farm. The inauguration of the Parmelee Farm Market in 2015 was a natural extension of these goals and a project long in the planning.
The Farm Market is on hiatus but is excited to offer an Artisan Market on Saturday, September 7th 2019 from 10am-3pm. A great way to get a jump start on your holiday shopping! We are looking for artisans and crafters of all kinds to participate – all proceeds to benefit ongoing projects at Parmelee Farm.
Parking will be in the parking lot in front of the farm house. Overflow will be directed to the middle school parking area, with use of the designated trail as access to the market.
We invite local and statewide artisans to contact us regarding participation at Parmelee Farm Artisan Market. Please note requirements, permit information, fees and forms in the tabs above. For more information, contact Market Coordinators Karen Milano and Linda Dudek at firstname.lastname@example.org.
