Promotion of community gatherings, environmental awareness, local agriculture, and healthy living are among the primary goals connected with the resurrection of Parmelee Farm. The inauguration of the Parmelee Farm Market in 2015 was a natural extension of these goals and a project long in the planning.
We are pleased to announce that in 2017, the Parmelee Farm Market will be open to the public on June 10, July 8, August 12 and September 9 from 10am-1pm. Fresh local produce, eggs, dairy products, honey, breads, soaps, jams will be available. A limited number of quality artisans will be there as well. There will be a hoola hoop and bubbles station for the little ones, and Rover is welcome if he is kept on leash and away from the vendor and food areas.
Parking will be in the new parking lot in front of the farm house. Overflow will be directed to the middle school parking area, with use of the designated trail as access to the market.
Killingworth non-profits will have a designated area where they can promote their organization.
We invite local and statewide vendors and artisans to contact us regarding participation at Parmelee Farm Market. Please note requirements, permit information, fees and forms in the tabs above.
