The moss, the flowers, the garter snake.. even the brussels sprouts are happy at the hollow! We’re excited about our new greenhouse and CSA program this year.
We are deeply committed to restoring and maintaining the land on this historic farm site. We are applying this year for organic certification, and are hoping to be certified by July 2017. Since the start of the farm in 2012, we have only used OMRI or Baystate Organics-approved fertilizers and integrated pest management strategies. We compost leaves from local landscapers as well as our own food scraps to improve soil quality, and we only use USDA-certified, OMRI-certified, or Baystate Organics-approved fertilizers and integrated pest management strategies.
